Tesco are now stocking Grandma Singletons 200g pre-packed cheese in 88 North West stores. The product went live in store on the 5th December and will be situated in the main cheese fixture. "It's a move away from the deli counter to try and raise the profile of our fantastic cheese within the main consumer purchasing stream, pre packed cheese." Richard Green, Account Manager. "Sales in pre pack are approximately 80-90% higher than on the deli counter and is a market we haven't explored enough as a business, this is going to change!" The launch will be boosted by a promotion which will run in January 2010.
